Your Questions Answered
What are we doing at Watershed to keep you safe?
We are doing our best to keep you and your family safe while attending services at Watershed. By providing hand sanitation stations and practicing social distancing in each room, we believe that you will be able to worship freely and comfortably in a safe way.
What about children and families?
Watershed is currently suspending children’s church and classes until further notice. As you may know, enforcing social distancing upon children is difficult, so at this time all children will be seated with parents in our main auditorium during services.
What about At-Risk individuals?
We completely understand the longing for everyone to come back to Watershed for in-person services. However, we also value your health and safety. If you are in the at-risk population (health compromised, 65+ years of age, and/or recently dealing with significant illness, hospitalization or surgery), we encourage you to join us online.
Where are We getting our guidelines for safe practices?
First and foremost, we follow the guiding of The Holy Spirit through God’s Word. The biblical mandate to continue ministering to our community is what drives every decision. We are also looking at what other churches in our city are doing and formulating a similar plan. The CDC and other governmental recommendations are always taken into consideration as well to keep you safe.
Are masks required?
For your safety, our ushers, greeters, and escorts will be wearing masks. Although not required, we strongly encourage everyone to wear a mask upon entering our facility and while making your way to your seat. Upon arriving to your seat, we want you to worship freely, so masks are not required. Of course, if you feel more comfortable wearing a mask during service, please do so.
