A Note from Pastor David
LEGACY X VISION NIGHT is upon us! For over 18 months we have been praying, planning, preparing to roll out this $5 million purpose forward vision. You will be receiving a packet in the mail this month explaining more about LEGACY X. Please feel free to ask questions. Encourage your friends and family, business associates, or anyone you know to contribute! Let us know if you need more printed materials.
We are already moving forward with the vision God has handed us. A few things that are happening as you read this newsletter.
First, we hired Sarah Lugo as our full-time Children’s Ministry Coordinator. She is already seeing big wins in her work and ministry. For example, Fall Fest is yielding new families and children for God’s kingdom and Watershed. The following Sunday after Fall Fest, a little girl begged her parent to bring her to our church. That woman was wanting to go to the church, but she was a bit shy to go alone. They attended and loved it! And now they are coming back with the other children in the family. Thank you Jesus!
Second, we are rearranging classrooms in the Children’s area. The former Room 6 will go back to a multi-purpose room in a couple of weeks. For now it will be holding our storage. The storage room in the Children’s area will become an office for Sarah, our Children’s Ministry Coordinator. An office will help her to have private meetings with parents and volunteers. We are so limited on space that changing one space forces us to move another. Pardon our mess over the next couple of weeks.
Additionally, Youth Ministry on Wednesday nights is ramping up! Corey and his coordinators are seeing more students and their families each week. And those families have been attending Sunday morning services as well.
Groups have doubled in number since last Spring. We are so pleased to see so many more people connected in relationship with one another and the church. Next semester is going to be even more fun!
We are still a bit behind in giving for the year. We know that it takes about 6 months for giving to catch up with new ministries. And we have a lot of new ministries. November and December are usually good giving months. Could you help us meet our annual goal? Giving toward the end of the year will bolster us toward our new vision securing our staff and ministry. The year end goal to meet is not yet set, but we are pushing toward $525,000 in tithes and offerings.
Don’t miss a Sunday in November! It will be so good.

WY Thriftmas Party
We’re wrapping up the year WY-style with a night full of thrifted fits, cookies, and Christmas fun! Join us Wednesday, December 17 at 6:30 PM in the Lobby for our Thriftmas Party — complete with cookie-decorating stations, games, prizes, and hot cocoa. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the season with friends before Christmas break!
Partnering with Agape Ministries – First Sundays
We now partner with Agape Ministries to provide food and clothing for families in our community.

Celebrating 10 Years of Watershed!
Last month we celebrate 10 years of God’s faithfulness! From the earliest days, Watershed has been about following Jesus, building relationships, and being present in our community. We honor those who have walked this journey and celebrate the new season God is launching. The past decade has been incredible, and we believe even greater things are ahead.
Life Groups – Where Community Happens
Our Fall semester of Life Groups is in full swing. Groups at Watershed are built around community.
We offer women’s, mixed, military, recovery, and all-around groups.
No matter your season of life, there’s a place for you to connect and walk with others!
Kids Ministry – Welcome Sarah Lugo!
We’re excited to celebrate a new season in Kids Ministry with Sarah Lugo as our new Kids Ministry Director. She is leading our Sunday mornings, equipping volunteers, and helping kids grow in their love for Jesus.
Watershed Youth – Wednesday Nights
Watershed Youth meets every Wednesday from 6:30–8:00 PM. Students in grades 6–12 are diving into a new series, Unafraid, about trusting God in uncertain times. Our youth ministry is growing, and we are thankful for the leaders and students who are showing up faithfully.
Baptisms Every 3rd Sunday
If you’ve been thinking about getting baptized, now is the time.
